One of the most famous coffee companies in Italy is planning to launch the production of edible cups. They will be a great alternative to disposable tableware.
Drinks will be served in edible cups in cafes and bars around the world under the slogan Mangia e Bevi (“Eat and Drink”). The project is currently under certification. According to the company’s Vice President, the idea of an edible cup appeared seven years ago. During this time, we were able to test several suppliers and various types of materials.
As a result the choice was made in favor of the Bulgarian company Cupffee, which offered a cup made from a mixture of cereals.
