Until recently, you could buy only a cup of coffee for a small price in such an expensive city like Rome. But soon this little joy will not come cheap any more.
The coffee prices in the Italian capital are expected to increase by the end of the summer of 2017 – the rising cost will be from 10 to 20 euro cents. According to the official data, this is due to the increase in VAT and the training costs for café and bar staff, maintaining facilities in proper condition and improvement of product quality. The cost of drink will likely go up gradually. The sectorial employees will also inform visitors on the need for such measures.
