A joint study of two large Italian companies showed how great is love the Apennine Peninsula inhabitants feel towards the invigorating drink. It turned out that annually Italian citizens spend on coffee up to 260 euro.
According to the results of the poll, completed by a thousand respondents, the vast majority of Italians prefer espresso. 95% of the respondents drink coffee regularly, and more than half of them — at least one cup a day. Whilst 22% of the respondents drink it even at night. In brief, along with pasta, coffee is quite a significant expenditure item for Italians.
