For the sake of a cup of coffee, the Italians are ready to go for anything. They are even ready to fly on a helicopter for a cup of coffee, if the situation requires it. This is what a resident of Piedmont recently did in the morning after Christmas.

A pilot-coffee lover landed by helicopter right on the square of one of the mountain towns in the north of Italy and went to a bar to drink coffee. Soon the police brought this eccentric man to responsibility for the unauthorized flight over the populated area and for non-compliance with air safety standards.

It turned out that the instructor of one of the flight schools just wanted to eat some polenta and drink a cup of coffee, and also make some panoramic photographs of the local valleys. According to him, he sent the flight request via e-mail, but it remained for some reason in the Drafts folder.
