When the Italians want to start the day with spicy coffee impression, they prepare Coretta. It seems nothing special: a good espresso flavored with alcohol just slightly. But being tasted just once there is a great chance to fall in love with it forever. In the north of Italy Coretta drink in the morning – probably to keep the playful mood till the evening.
The classic recipe involves adding grappa, brandy or sambuca, but other options are also possible. For the basis of the drink take a portion of freshly brewed espresso using Porto Rosso Ristretto capsules. Add 20 ml of grappa, sugar to taste and stir well. Drink Coretta in one or two sips, enjoying its rich and multi-faceted taste.
